What this service is

Startline USA is an independent directory that helps you find and compare running races and keep a personal shortlist. It is informational. It is not the organizer of any race and does not register you, reserve a place, take payments or act for an organizer.

No guarantee of accuracy or availability

Race facts such as dates, start times, fees and registration status come from the organizers’ official sites and published race calendars listed on the About our data page. They can be out of date, incomplete or wrong, and some fields are unknown. The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without a promise that it is accurate, complete, uninterrupted or error-free.

Check the official source before acting

Before you register, pay, book travel or rely on any fact, check the official event page that each race links to. The organizer’s information always takes priority over ours.

Third-party data

Race information belongs to its respective organizers and sources. The About our data page explains where records come from and what is unverified. Trademarks and names belong to their owners.

Acceptable use

• Do not break the law, attack or overload the site, or probe it for weaknesses.
• Do not scrape the site at a rate that harms it, or use it to build a competing copy of the data.
• Do not submit false reports, personal information of others, or abusive content.
• Do not try to access another person’s account or data.

Accounts

You may create an account with a verified email address or Google sign-in. Keep your password secret and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for activity under it. Account data is handled as described in the Privacy policy.

Ending your use

You can stop at any time and delete your account in the app (My, “Delete my account”). We may suspend or close an account, or restrict access, if these terms are broken or to protect the site or other people. We may also change or stop any part of the service.

Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for losses that come from relying on the information here, including missed deadlines, fees, travel costs or a cancelled race, or from the site being unavailable or wrong. Nothing in these terms limits any responsibility that cannot legally be limited.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they were last updated. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the updated terms.
